BPM-X Converter: Transfers modelling content between different modelling tools - e.g. ARIS and Visio.
BPM-X for Visio® Design: Visio add-on which provides a modelling method, such as BPMN, SAP and EPC (ARIS).
BPM-X for Visio® Publishing: Generates (from a set of Visio diagrams) a web-based portal that can be navigated by standard desktop browsers - e.g. Internet Explorer.

BPM-X Converter

The BPM-X Converter enables the two-way transfer of process models between the following platforms:

  • Visio
  • ARIS (IDS Scheer)
  • System Architect
  • MEGA
  • Rational
  • SAP Netweaver:
    Solution Manager
  • Nimbus Control 2007
  • Corporate Modeler (Casewise)
  • Oracle

    • The tool vendor's own XML-based format is converted into the BPM-Xchange format, so that any combination of the above tools can be supported.

    The different methods used within each platform (BPMN, UML, EPC, flowcharts, etc) are also mapped and transformed. This enables users to model processes in their chosen method and notation.

    Visio conventional flowcharts and swim-lanes can be transformed into ARIS EPCs (row / column) or BPMN (Business Process Modelling Notation).

    A complete 'round-trip' transfer can be provided: 'Visio -> ARIS -> Visio -> ARIS', where existing objects and models are updated using the ARIS 'GUIDs'.
